“This tournament provides an amazing opportunity for the Ladies European Tour to collaborate with the world's leading professional golf tours,” said Alexandra Armas, Executive Director of the LET.

“To have the best golfers from each Tour coming together to compete in Asia is a sign of the progressive relationships that the LET continues to enjoy with the world's finest golfing organisations.”

The last time the LET collaborated with the KLPGA was at the Samsung Ladies Masters, a co-sanctioned event at Laguna National G&CC in Singapore . The Samsung Ladies Masters was held under the auspices of the Ladies European Tour (LET), The Korean Ladies Professional Golfers Association (KLPGA), The Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) and the Singapore Ladies Golf Association and boasted a truly international field.

The event was won by the 18-year-old Korean Bo Bae Song, who narrowly beat Charlotta S örenstam to the title. Song is now a full member of the Ladies European Tour and has competed in seven tournaments on the LET this season, highlighting the tremendous opportunities available for golfers from all regions of the globe.

Coakley, a rookie on the LET, finished 29 th on the Money List, while Cecilia Ekelundh finished sixth after a wonderful year in which she won her second career title at the Algarve Ladies Open of Portugal, in June.
