LAGT girls fly high in Macau
The
women professional golfers taking part in the US$80,000 Macau LAGT
Championship decided to swap their golf clubs for jump jackets,
fun and excitement as they gathered to get a feeling of what sky
walking and sky jumping was all about at the Macau Tower here yesterday
courtesy of Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre.
Cracking jokes and teasing each other, these girls, about two-thirds
of the field taking part in the Macau LAGT Championship at Macau
Golf and Country Club were waiting anxiously for that big experience
jumping from a long par-3 distance (altitude)
of 233 metres. For the record the Macau Tower sky jump is the highest
in the world from a tower.
Frightened, exciting, nervous, shivers were some of the adjectives
that these golfers described prior to the walk and jump. At the
end they their verdict was: It was all so easy, just drop.
Later, the women professional entered the Tiger Slot (casino),
and then visited a section of the Old City Walls, Natcha Temple,
Ruins of St Paul, Holy House of Mercy and Leal Senado Building.
