Ho and Prayad in good shape in Japan

Korea's Hur Suk-ho and Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand started strongly in the Acom International in Japan with matching four-under-par 67s on Thursday.

Both players fired six birdies on the card against two dropped shots and trail first round leader Mamo Osanai by two strokes. Filipino veteran Frankie Minoza also enjoyed a strong start with a 69 in the Japan Golf Tour event.

China's Liang Wen-chong, who has enjoyed a strong run with four recent top-fives in Japan, signed for a 71, a score matched by Thailand's Thammanoon Srirot, while Asian Tour's UBS Order of Merit leader Jeev Milkha Singh of India carded a 72.
