More about Yalong Bay Golf Club

The Yalong Bay Golf Club was designed by world renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr and opened for play in 2000. The fairways are shaped strategically to offer panoramic views from the tee boxes. There are a total of 95 bunkers on the course and 120,000 square metres of man-made lakes to challenge the skills of the players.

The course is surrounded by mountains and the sea while the clubhouse provides all the five-star facilities that golfers in Asia are accustomed to. Some of the holes are especially memorable and challenging, including the opening par-five hole, the par three 340-yard 15th hole and closing par four 18th hole.

Course Record:
62 (10-under-par) – Edward Loar (USA), Liang Wen-chong (PRC), TCL Classic 2006

Recent Tournaments held:
2006 TCL Classic (Johan Edfors – w)
2004 Sanya Open (Terry Pilkadaris – w)
2004 Sanya Open (Marcus Both – w)
