Yeh takes second title in Japan

Chinese Taipei's Yeh Wei-tze lifted his second career title on the Japan Tour when he won the Sega Sammy Cup by four strokes on Sunday.

Yeh led by one overnight but sped to the title convincingly with a six-under-par 66 final round, accumulating a four-day total of 12-under-par 276. The event has proven to be a happy hunting ground for Chinese Taipei players as Lin Keng-chi, the 1995 Asian number one, was last year's winner.

China's Liang Wen-chong continued to show his promise when he finished joint third after carding a 70 on the last day. He finished seven shots behind the winner.

India's Jeev Milkha Singh, the current Asian Tour's UBS Order of Merit, produced his 10th top-10 of the season by sharing fifth place with Thailand Chawalit Plaphol on 285.

Singh the reigning Volvo China Open champion, signed off with a 71 while Chawalit, winner of the Bangkok Airways Open recently, was one shot higher.
