Atwal slips back with 75
Arjun Atwal slipped up on the second day of the AT&T Pebble
Beach National Pro-Am on Friday after shooting a three-over-par
75.
The Indian star, Asia's number one in 2003, started the day in tied
fourth place following an opening 67 but he failed to sustain his
good form with a mixed bag of four birdies, five bogeys and one
double bogey.
His two-day total of 142 left him in tied 40th place.
Sweden's Daniel Chopra, a former regular in Asia, improved with
a 70 after opening with a 71 to lie in 29th place. Phil Mickelson
and Jim Furyk lead the event on 132.
Korea's Charlie Wi shot a 69 for tied 71st place while compatriot
Choi Kyung-ju returned a 72.
