Asia to get its own golf trade magazine

The exponential growth of golf in Asia has fast-tracked the need for a dedicated magazine to help keep track of the rapid pace of development in the industry. In response to this pressing need, Asia Pacific Golf Development Conferences Pte Ltd will be launching Asian Golf Business in January 2008.

"The publication is being produced as a trade magazine designed to provide the industry with a communications platform to keep everyone in touch with the day to day goings-on in the business", explained Mike Sebastian, the publisher of the new magazine.

The launch of this magazine comes in the wake of the recent success of the inaugural Asia Pacific Golf Development Summit held in Singapore. "We received a lot of feedback on the need improved communications and based on this tremendous response, we decided that the time was right for the launch of Asian Golf Business", Mike pointed out.

Asian Golf Business will focus on matters relating to sustainable golf course development, trends and best practices in the management of golf courses, new equipment and hardware, recruitment opportunities and a host of other trade applications.

The magazine will be produced as an electronic edition and will be distributed to all golf course owners, operators and developers in Asia. It will also be promoted extensively through the wide network of the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation, which represents 29 national golf associations throughout the Asia Pacific geographic footprint.

A dedicated website www.asiangolfbusiness.com will be launched in conjunction with the new magazine.
