More about the Blue Canyon CC Canyon Course

Set against some of the most scenic landscape, the Phang Nga Mountains and Andaman Sea, The Blue Canyon Country Club is noted as one of the top golfing destinations in the region.

The Club offers two spectacular golf courses, Lakes Course and the Canyon Course, which is the testing ground for the 2007 Johnnie Walker Classic. Among the top stars that have graced the Canyon Course include Greg Norman, Tiger Woods, Ian Woosnam, Nick Faldo, Fred Couples and Bernhard Langer.

Noted for his trait of designing courses that blend well with the natural environment, Yoshikazu Kato created the Canyon Course among existing canyons and woodlands back in 1991. It contains natural hazards that will stretch the skills of any golfer out on course.

The 17th hole was voted one of the “The top 500 holes in the World” by Golf Magazine. The other top accolades received were the “Best Course in Thailand 2003” by US Golf Digest and “Best Championship Course in Asia 2002 & 2003” by Asian Golf Monthly.
