Lyle moves up as Chopra slips back

Australian Jarrod Lyle carded a one-under-par 71 in the third round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Saturday, moving up into tied 21st place in the US PGA Tour event.

Lyle, who enjoyed two impressive seasons on the Asian Tour before moving to the US this season, endured a mixed bag with one eagle, two birdies and three bogeys for a three-day total of 211.

Nick Watney leads the event on 204 after shooting a 68.

Korea's Charlie Wi carded a 72 for tied 27th place alongside former Asian Tour regular Ted Purdy while Sweden's Daniel Chopra, who was in the top-10 at the halfway stage, dropped to tied 36th place after a disappointing 75.
