Choi finishes in 22nd spot at Nissan

Kyung-ju slipped back to tied 22nd place after the final round at
the Nissan Open on Sunday following a three-over-par 74.
Starting the day in ninth place, the Korean star was one under through
11 holes but dropped four consecutive bogeys to miss out on another
top-10 on the US PGA Tour this season. He accumulated a four-day
total of 279.
Charles Howell III won the title after beating Phil Mickelson in
a play-off after both players finished tied on 268.
Kevin Na, who spent most of last season injured, continued with
his comeback with a tied 33rd outing after closing with a 73 for
a 281 total.
In South Africa, James Kingston was tied eighth in the Vodacom Championship
after closing with a final round 72. His 277 total was three shots
behind winner Richard Sterne, who beat Louis Oosthuizen in a play-off.
In Australia, Scott Hend was equal 26th in the Jacob's Creek Open
with a 285 total, nine shots behind winner Scott Sterling. Lee Won-joon
was a further two strokes back in a share of 35th place. Hend and
Lee earned their Asian Tour cards through Qualifying School at the
end of last year.
