The
Ria Bintan Golf Club is a highly acclaimed club that has received
numerous awards that include the Best Golf Course in Indonesia
in 2006 as voted by Asian Golf Monthly. Playing on mature landscape,
the golfers will have to swing their way through the testing woodlands
and windswept beaches at the two 18-hole championship courses, the
Ocean Course and Forest Course, both created by world renowned designer
Gary Player. The venue will play host to the inaugural Motorola
International Bintan in 2007.
Only a 40 minute ferry ride from Singapore, the players will get
to experience top class facilities that includes a spa and a restaurant.
There is also a 20-bay driving range and a famous halfway house
which located at the 10th hole overlooking the South China Sea.
