More money, more events, new venues. Cambodia hosted the Johnnie Walker Cambodian Open in late 2007.

With deep recession looming and growing rivarly for control of the professional game in Asia, the Asian Tour announced a $42m schedule for 2009 and celebrated its 300th tournament - the 50th UBS Hong Kong Open. Amid all the uncertainty, only one thing was certain: 2009 would not be an ordinary year.
