Thongchai clinches an Abu Dhabi top 15

Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee enjoyed a tied 13th finish at the Abu Dhabi Championship after closing his week with a six-under-par 66 on Sunday.

The double Asian Tour number one accumulated a four-round total of 14-under-par 274 to finish seven shots behind winner Paul Casey of England. It was an extension of his fine form as he had won three matches at the Royal Trophy in the previous week.

Indian duo Jyoti Randhawa and Jeev Milkha Singh were amongst those who shared tied 26th position. Randhawa, Asia's number one in 2002, carded rounds of 71, 70, 67 and 69 while reigning Asian number one Singh shot rounds of 74, 67, 70 and 66.

New Zealand's Mark Brown finished equal 42nd after rounds of 72, 69, 70 and 70.
