Jyoti Randhawa enters world top 100
India's Jyoti Randhawa broke into the top-100 on the Official World Golf Ranking after his winning performance at the Singha Thailand Open on Sunday.
Thanks to steady form this year, Randhawa continued to shoot up the ranks to 94th place this week.
Prior to his success, the Indian star had nailed one runner-up finish at the Maybank Malaysian Open and a top-10 result in the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open this season on the Asian Tour.
After his success in Bali two weeks ago and a top-10 performance in Phuket, Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee followed suit with his rise up to 70th place.
Korea's Yang Yong-eun is also in high gear this year thanks to his win at the Honda Classic on Sunday which pushed him up to 147th spot. He became the second Korean player after K.J Choi to win on the US PGA Tour.
Korea's K.J Choi was in 21st spot while India's Jeev Milkha Singh was ranked 36th. Thailand's Prayad Marksaeng remained at 55th position while Chinese Taipei's Lin Wen-tang slipped to 57th place.
The other players in the top-200 are South African James Kingston (80th), Hiroyuki Fujita of Japan (86th), Korea's Charlie Wi (108th) and Kevin Na (114th), Australian Scott Strange (119th), New Zealander Mark Brown (130th) followed by China's Liang Wen-chong who was a spot below.
Hur Suk-ho of Korea was in 139th place while American Anthony Kang was ranked 141st followed by Sweden's Daniel Chopra who remained unchanged in 152nd position while others include Korean young gun Noh Seung-yul (156th), David Gleeson (178th), Thailand's Thaworn Wiratchant (182nd) with James Kamte was two spots below, Singapore's Lam Chih Bing (189th) and Chapchai Nirat of Thailand in 195th place.
