Sponsors Step Up At Handa Classic August 22 , 2011
A host of corporate sponsors have got behind the ISPS Handa Singapore Classic as it makes its return to the Asian Tour Schedule.
The US$300,000 full field Asian Tour event will be staged at Orchid Country Club from September 8-11 with the International Sport Promotion Society (ISPS) renewing its commitment again by returning as the events title sponsor.
Last year, the ISPS Handa Singapore Classic was used to help promote blind golfing while this year, organisers will focus on relief and rebuilding
efforts in Japan following the tsunami and earthquake tragedies earlier this year.
The sponsors and Asian Tour have agreed to donate US$100,000 from the
initial prize fund of US$400,000 towards Japan.
With the focus on the relief and rebuilding efforts, the ISPS Handa
Singapore Classic, which is sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Singapore PGA, has attracted a growing list of renowned corporates ready to lend their cause to the event.
The Singapore Sports Council has also given their support to the event,
signaling the strong support shown by the Singapore community.

Singapore (Promotions Partner), Pan Pacific Singapore (Official Hotel),

Singha (Official Beer), NTUC FairPrice (Official Drinking Water), 100 Plus
