Han Will Speak At IHT Sports Summit

Asian Tour Executive Chairman Kyi Hla Han will be amongst a contingent of leading sports officials and major sponsors from around the globe who will be speaking at the International Herald Tribune (IHT) Sports Business Summit in Istanbul starting today.

Han will be speaking on the topic “Where is the next wave of fans coming from, and how can they be targeted” this morning and will also be involved in a panel discussion with Haroon Lorgat, Chief Executive of the International Cricket Council and Jim Small, Vice President of Major League Baseball.

Other prominent speakers for the two-day summit include Suat Kilic, Minister of Youth and Sports, Turkey, Bruce Buck, Chairman of Chelsea FA, Randy Bernard, CEO of Indycar, Edwin Moses, Chairman of Laureus World Sports Academy, Bernard Lapasset, Chairman of the International Rugby Board, Richard Worth, Chairman and CEO of America’s Cup Event Authority and Giles Morgan, Group Head of Sponsorship, HSBC.

The IHT Sports Business Summit brings together IHT writers, major sports sponsors, investors, media pioneers, global sports figures, entrepreneurs, property and franchise owners, broadcasters, federations and government ministers for two days of revealing conversations about the business of sport.
