Khan and Bakshi get Faldo invitation to Brazil finale

India's Rashid Khan will head a strong Asian challenge at the Faldo Series Grand Final in Brazil following an invite from Nick Faldo to the Costa do Sauipe Golf Resort on October 25-31.

17-year-old Khan from Delhi received the invite from Faldo following his victory in the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final at China's Mission Hills Golf Club in December. Also heading to the Bahia region on the northern coast of Brazil will be Khan's compatriot and Faldo Series Asia boys' under-18 champion, Rahul Bakshi.

As well as spending time with the six-time Major winner, the Indian duo will be competing against over 75 finalists, narrowed down from more than 30 Faldo Series championships across the UK, Europe and South America. With previous winners including Nick Dougherty, Oliver Fisher and Kiran Matharu, it will be the first time the Faldo Series Grand Final, an R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking event, has been held outside the UK.
