About the Sentosa Serapong Course

The Sentosa Golf Club hosted its first major international golf tournament in 2005 when it staged the star-studded Singapore Open. The club’s Ronald Fream-designed Serapong Course was used for the tournament and received rave reviews for being both challenging and visually inspiring.

Opened in 1982, Singapore’s harbour provides a dramatic backdrop for this testing course; the fairways are lined with dense jungle and the large, well-contoured greens are dotted with formidable water hazards and large, strategically placed bunkers.

The Serapong Course will once again be used for this year’s Barclays Singapore Open. The course was revamped in early 2007 where an additional 120 yards were added to the golf course while new bunkers and greens were also reshaped.

Sentosa is located 15 minutes from the Central Business District.

A full range of facilities is offered at the club which include buggy cars, experienced caddies, putting greens, a well replicated driving range, fully serviced men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, pro shop, Chinese, Italian and Japanese restaurants, Golfers’ Terrace, bar and lounge, reading room and private rooms. The club is the perfect choice for busy executives and discerning golfers alike and an outstanding venue for what is Asia’s richest national Open.
