About the Kota Permai Course
Kota
Permai Golf and Country Club was opened for play in 1998 and was
the home of the previous Volvo Masters of Malaysia for four years,
and its forerunner the Volvo Masters of Asia in 2002 and 2004.
Designed by Australian architect Ross Watson, the championship
layout has a challenging mix of holes to test the very best of golfers
for the Fortis International Challenge.
Its risk-reward design and subtle slopes on the greens make Kota
Permai one of the finest layouts in Malaysia.
Simon Yates of Scotland and Thailands Prayad Marksaeng hold
the course record of nine-under-par 63.
