Macau Open reduced to 54 holes
The
Macau Open has been reduced to a 54-hole tournament following unrelenting
rain at Macau Golf and Country Club.
The Asian Tour announced this morning that the suspended third round
will now be the final round and it was hopeful of restarting the
tournament at 1.40pm.
Play was suspended on Saturday at 1.40pm and subsequently called
off for the day. Heavy rain this morning meant that players have
not been able to recommence their rounds.
India's Gaurav Ghei is leading the tournament by two strokes on
11-under-par through 11 holes of his third round, followed by Chinese
Taipei's Lu Wen-teh, Australian Richard Moir and China's Liang Wen-chong.

-9: LU Wen-teh (TPE) thru 12
-9: Richard MOIR (AUS) thru 11
