About the Pine Valley Course
Pine Valley Golf Resort and Country Club offers a stunning view with its mountainous terrain and excellent landscaping. It is one of China’s most exclusive clubs offering a course that will challenge every aspect of a golfers game.
The club has an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus II Links Course. Among the other top class facilities include a five star hotel, a world-class spa, an equestrian club, a pet hotel and an environmental garden.
The club hosted the inaugural Pine Valley Beijing Open in 2007 at the Signature Course which was graced by golfing legend Nicklaus.
The Pine Valley Beijing Open returns this year with the promise of yet another stellar field. Accuracy will be the key on the second hole with players trying to avoid a lake on the left and two bunkers on the right off the tee. The 13th hole is nicknamed ‘catcher’s mitt’ because of the deep depression on the left that collects the balls left by players trying to avoid the bunkers on the right. Golfers will end their round at the 18th hole with the lake playing a crucial role in determining the approach shot.
Course record: 63: Adam Scott (2005 Johnnie Walker Classic)
