About the Course
The Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club is the latest golf course to be sculpted in the province of Khon Kaen which is located North East of Thailand and is accessible via an hour's flight from Bangkok.
The par-72 Championship Golf Course is managed by Santiburi Development and Resort and measures 7,502 yards against a lush backdrop.
What makes this course unique is that the water from Singha Corporation's Khon Kaen Brewery, which is a stone’s throw away from the golf course, is treated and recycled to water the course.
The water is naturally treated in a wetland where plants such as Chantaboon reed, Star grass and water hyacinth are grown. These plants have the natural ability to filter chemical residue. The water is also used in the mixed cultivation areas and the test paddy field where rice grains from the paddy field is distributed to local farmers for further cultivation.
This effort from Singha Corporation demonstrates a remarkable attempt to create a better environment.
