Courses that accept 2-FORE!-1 vouchers can be found all over the country, and offer golf to suit every taste, handicap and budget. With almost 1000 courses to choose from, there will always be a half price course nearby.

These range from such world famous venues as The Belfry, The Forest of Arden and St. Mellion to lesser known but welcoming local clubs, 9-hole and par 3 courses and driving ranges.

Each voucher costs as little as £2.50, so you can be saving money right from the start!

Terms & Conditions

These are the simple steps you need to follow when using your vouchers.

Participating courses are clearly marked with a 2-FORE!-1 icon (see right) on the county listings, as well as on the course page itself, just below the 'Visitors' information.

1. Telephone your chosen golf club in advance to arrange your tee times, and be sure to declare your intention to use a 2-FORE!-1 voucher. Tee times are subject to availability.

2. Read any requirements and restrictions carefully for the golf club you intend to visit. Certain clubs may require a handicap certificate or impose other requirements such as Soft Spikes only. These are listed in the course directory, though it's also wise to double check exactly what the club requires when booking.

3. The special 2-FORE!-1 rate only applies in the season and on the days and times specified by the club. When you make the telephone booking, the course will confirm any restrictions.

4. 2-FORE!-1 vouchers are for casual play only and are not valid for substitute or part payment for society/corporate bookings of more than 8 golfers. Any exceptions to this rule are at the complete discretion of the golf club and require the express agreement of the Golf Manager at the time of booking.

5. A current 2-FORE!-1 voucher, completed with the personal contact details of the voucher holder and guest, must be presented along with the balance of the two for one green fee. Both golfers must tee-off together based on the standard, adult, visitor green fee rates. Two vouchers must be presented for golfers to play in a fourball, and so on up to a maximum of 8 golfers.

6. 2-FORE!-1 voucher applicants must be aged 18 or over. It is at the discretion of each participating course whether or not they permit any junior green fee rate to be applied to the 2-FORE!-1 terms and can be checked at the time of booking.

7. Please observe the dress code of each club you intend to visit. Failure to do so may result in you being refused access to the course and/or the clubhouse.

8. Certain participating clubs reserve the right to restrict the number of times in any 12 month period that a voucher holder may avail of the two for one offer. It is essential to check after the first round whether or not a club imposes such restrictions.

9. 2-FORE!-1 vouchers may not be used in conjunction with club competitions such as Open Days or any other short-term promotional offers. The two for one green fee offer does not apply to visitors' rates when playing with a member of a participating club.

10. Occasionally a new or temporary member of the pro shop staff may be unaware of the 2-FORE!-1 arrangement. In the unlikely event of this arising you should ask to consult the golf manager for clarification.

How do I find out which golf courses participate in this scheme?
Look for the 2-FORE!-1 icon (right) within our course directory on the course pages or the county index pages. You can also click on the following links for a full list of participating golf courses in England, Ireland, Scotland, or Wales.

Is there a membership fee to join 2-FORE!-1?
No. You can simply purchase however many vouchers you want at any time.

Can we just turn up at a course with our vouchers and play?
No. You must telephone the course in advance and book a tee time, specifying that you will will be using 2-FORE!-1 vouchers.

Do the vouchers expire?
Yes. However, the time that the vouchers are valid is very generous, and the current vouchers do not expire until 30th December 2012. No refunds, exchanges or replacements can be made for vouchers not used after their final validity date.

Are the vouchers transferable?
Yes. Whilst each voucher is numbered they are not assigned to any one person. So for example, you may wish to club together with your playing partners to order more vouchers to take advantage of special offers or to save on postage costs.

How many of us can play together under the scheme?
Up to a maximum of 4 golfers with vouchers may play with their guests, so 8 people in all can play at any one time.

Do I need a handicap certificate to use the vouchers?
Some courses will require this, and may impose a handicap limit, while others are more open. You should check in our course directory, or when making the telephone booking.

My friend is a member at a participating club. Can I get the discount on a member's guest green fee?
No. The vouchers are not valid in conjunction with other promotional offers.

How much can I save with 2-FORE!-1 vouchers?
With nearly 1000 courses available, this varies very much according to the course you choose to play, the time of year and the time of day, but can be anywhere from a few pounds to the price of a very good lunch!

How quickly will I receive my vouchers if I order online?
We aim to process all orders within 48 hours of receipt and they are dispatched by Royal Mail with First Class postage.

Can vouchers be sent by email?
No. You need to present the physical vouchers when you play so they cannot be electronically transmitted.

How many vouchers can I order?
The minimum order is one voucher, and there is no maximum. However, please bear in mind that vouchers can only be used for casual play, not by societies, and that they do eventually expire.

How often can I play using 2-FORE!-1?
There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can use in a 12 month period. However at some courses the number of times you can play using 2-FORE!-1 in any 12 month period may be restricted. Please check with the club when booking.
