* The John O'Gaunt course is a top quality
golf course which has matured naturally over many years thus providing players
with carpet-like fairways and fast, true greens. * The Carthagena Course The
Carthagena provides a wonderful contrast to the John O'Gaunt course with much
larger greens, longer tees and a soil which drains very quickly. * The Club
has hosted many National and Regional Tournaments, including the English Golf
Union Seniors Championship on two occasions in 1988 and 2003.

Reviews
I have played on several societies
at John O Gaunt and have always found the course's in superb condition, the facilities
and staff are of the highest quality, a day at this course is something to be
highly recommended. Geoff Shepherd October 25, 2004
Disappointing,
the greens were slow and bumpy and the rest of the course seemed untidy, lovely
clubhouse. Luke Dennis August 3, 2006
