the Course | * Part parkland, part
woodland. Pleasant and picturesque course. The 16th, 17th and 18th are relatively
short par 4s, but to score well on all three requires mental resolve as well as
the skill to put your tee shots in exactly the right place. The elevated 465-yard
Par 4 12th is a Par 3 which Longhurst described as outstanding in his book The
Nine Most Beautiful Golf Holes in England.
Leighton has
hosted a significant number of County, Regional, National Championships and Pro-AM
