I began playing Datchet on a pay-per-play basis three years ago and was particularly impressed with the condition of the course and the friendliness and cordiality of the members and staff. The course itself is fairly flat and not very long, but provides sufficient challenge for all bet the longest and straightest low-handicappers. While there are only nine holes, six have different tees on the front and back which change them significantly.
I liked that course, members, and facilities so much that I've become a member. The clubhouse has had a recent face-lift and the bar is now serving soup and sandwiches daily.
If you are in the area, I'd recomment you try it and see for yourself
