Course Reviews
I was expecting a great day, but the course was in terrible condition and the staff were not very friendly. If you want to pay this amount of money for a days golf I would go elsewhere. Bob James July 17, 2010
My experience at Mill Ride is not a good one. I took up what I thought was temporary membership to try the course for 3 months. At the end of the period I decided not to continue, unfortunately they indicated that I had signed for the whole year and that I was due to pay the full fee. They use underhand tactic to sign you up. Be careful if you are considering joining. There is lots of small print so please take time to read it fully. Ultimately they were not prepared to discuss the matter and enforced the contract via court proceedings. They course is OKish but their business ethics are terrible. If you are considering joining make sure you want to join for the entire period. I have learnt a serious and expensive lesson. Simon July 17, 2010
A course that after a much needed change of ownership and Head Greenkeeper has come on leaps and bounds with possibly the best greens around right now. One for the MUST PLAY list!!! Paul Williams August 18, 2005
