Played a twilight round yesterday, £25. Pro failed to mention that 12 of the greens had been hollow tined and 2 temporaries. Pro shop had closed by the time we had finished. Tee boxes very scruffy too.
I used to play this course regularly 3 or so years ago when they accepted Open Fairways, it's really gone downhill since then. Found myself in 7 or 8 bunkers all of which had footprints and needed raking.
Will not be returning, much better courses in the area, Caversham, Sherfield etc. which provide better conditions and value for money.

This course is NOT worth the £45 I paid, it is virtually a "pay & play" course. I found golfers who'd paid just £20 after turning up on the day so why charge me top wack?
The pro (who went by the name of Chris) was ignorant when I asked a question re my golf (fault), only interested in charging me for a lesson I did not want (what happened to the "helping golfers" attitude the PGA promote. I watched him do a lesson with 4 kids around 6-8yr olds & he was only interested in taking their money (no warm up or cool down).
The course was poor, fairways rough, greens pathetic & litter everywhere. One golfer said I should have just turned up & played as they have no marshels?
I would NEVER play there again or recommend it to my fellow golfers.
