A very charming course tucked out of the way, but well worth
finding. It is a compact course which doesn't give a lot of
leeway to any wayward shots, so good iron work is essential,
as is a knowledge of the green positions due to the undulation
of the course, luckily a map is provided on the back of the
scorecard. There are a couple of greens which can catch you
out, due to the hilly nature of the area, one end of the green
must be at least two feet higher than the other and slopes
dramatically, so aim for the flag. The fairways are lush and
there is only short rough which makes for a very pleasant
game, and at only £6 for 9 holes it's very good value. Lee Nichols July 7, 2005
