Windmill Hill has to be one of
the best courses of the future, mostly because of the willingness
to invest into young people within golf. Weekend junior group
lessons help youngsters enjoy golf while enjoying the game (I
know as I've been to many of these lessons). They don't, however,
try to pressurise people into going and encourage them to use
the course and other facilities, which are perfectly suited
to young people as there is variation in length with a few employing
tactics for getting around doglegs etc. Altogether I see it
as a great course which challenges without punishing the young
player simply wishing to enjoy the game too much. 8/10. Andy Spencer
