Played this course many times whilst I was working and I found it a very pleasing track. Not over difficult for sub 10 handicappers players with handicaps of 11-15 would in my opinion find it a good challenge with possibility of scoring low. Good fairways, Rough not too deep, but beware of water traps. Facilities for the day trip Golfer are good.
Abbotsley fits the brief for societies with 3 star accommodation on site sadly food is not that great but the bar is lively with "the like-minded". Best conditions most likely to be June- September. Certainly worth a trip.

Good value for money. Challenging and well kept course with lots of mature trees. Almost every hole provides a fascinating new challenge.

This course requires skills and thought to complete it successfully. A lot of holes punish you for the slightest shots.
