The Cambridge Golf Club was originally opened in 1992 and was extended to a full 18 in 1997.
The layout is open and fairly flat but its length means that it is never a pushover for any golfer. Very friendly welcome extended to everyone and a first class driving range is available for those wishing to put in some practice.

I played this course on a friday lunchtime in the drizzling rain, and I have to say that I wasn't impressed with the scenery. The greyness seemed to be reflected in the flatness of the course! However in retrospect, the course is actually quite challenging and the holes offer a good deal of variation (in particular the back nine). When I played, they were running a special offer of £10 for all the golf you can play in a day! For that price, and also for the usual green fee I'd say that this is well worth a visit for novice - intermediate golfers (like me!). Adam Carter November 19, 2007
