This is an excellent and challenging course with great features
and a great club house. It also has good greens and great
fairways in the winter and even better in the summer.

I had the chance to visit the course with a member last week.
The first surprise was the general condition of the course
and the amount of work that was going on! Although off temp
T's, the greens were in play and very true. I had been told
to wear my wellies but there was not any standing water, apart
from the ponds that make the course so challeging. However,
its not just the ponds that challenge you, the fairways are
a must to hit and some being narrow, will affect your score
card if your not accuarate. To point out a favourite hole
would be hard, they were all memorable, especially the 5th
and 14th. The club house was warm and welcoming and a good
fare was available at decent prices. The club pro was friendly
and a mind of imformation. If this is the condition of the
course at this time of the year, I just might be a new member
soon.

This is an excellent course, made even better by its price.Twilight
rate can be had after 3pm, with 18 holes just £10. For
that, you get a constantly pleasant welcome and a course with
excellent facilities for its price and consistently good condition.
Water, water everywhere is the watch word for this place,
with most fairways bound left and right by the stuff, ponds
in fairways with bunkers opposite and a lot of greens having
water past should you overshoot.Whilst not the most technically
challenging game of golf I've ever played, it is by far the
most enjoyable course I have had the pleasure of playing regularly,
and should be a definite stop if you happen to be in the area.
Well stocked if tiny pro shop, good clubhouse and locker rooms.
Bit tricky to find, but give them a call and they'll talk
you in.
