This is a truly beautiful course and club. This is Premier League stuff and, without wishing to sound demeaning, I am not surprised this is the first review of this course on this site. Players playing here are unlikely to need to review the place - the car park teems with Mercs, BMWs and 4x4's. People who play here regularly know how good it is and can afford premium. And, oh, how good is it. Everything smacks of quality. From the first tee, with a wonderful water feature, to the 18th green - just lie all the others, well cut, well tended and perfect. The tranquility and beauty of it, the well thought out layout, the mixture of interesting, challenging, but inviting holes and the abundant wildlife all make for a great experience. It's said by some that golf is a good walk spoiled. At this pace, if your golf is off, you will still enjoy.....so some truth there. It's difficult to find anything to complain about, so I won't. A treat, so enjoy. One recommendation is that there are some seriously deceptive hills. Our more mature players will benefit from buggy hire, which is very reasonably priced.
