The golf course is situated to the
east of Warrington with easy access, just one mile from either
the M6 junction 21 or the M62 J 11.
Note car park is off Crab Lane.
The course opened in 1978. Since then, it has
seen a number of changes with the addition of new tee positions,
new greens and new ponds.
Course Reviews
Poulton Park is now a real gem. Work put into
this course has paid off with probably the best greens and fairways
in the area. Although only nine holes this is no disadvantage
as there are seventeen tees. To make a score here you will need
to concentrate hard. Don't let the short par 4 1st and par 3
2nd lull you into a false sense of security. There are four
really testing par 4's and 3 long par 3's to contend with. The
three finishing holes are superb and changed many a result.
