Sadly caught this course at the wrong time (March 2015). Course conditional very poor mainly due to Greens having to be treated because of some kind of disease which almost made 7-8 holes unplayable. This was a real shame as the course has some serious hole configurations, and although it plays just under 6100 yards you need all your skills to score well. Playing off 9 I was happy to come home just 4 shots over handicap. I have knee problems so I had no choice but to use a buggy because this layout is uphill and down dale so if you have any walking problems be warned. I hope the course gets back to its best soon. But in the meantime if you intend playing Shrigley any time soon (March - June 2015) make sure you call ahead first to get the "SP" on what the course conditions are like.

This is a superb course and the hardest i have played with all the long rough and O.O.B on every hole it is challenging to break 90. My friends play at the Tythyrington club and it is a lot easier with it being a lot flatter than Shrigley Hall. Also Shrigley Hall has astounding par 3's hitting downhill onto a small green with water on 3 sides.
