Reviews
I am a member here and the course is excellent and well maintained. There is a pro shop here where you can buy equipment. The clubhouse is great for food, drinks and entertainment. This is a great course and I would recommend it to people who want to be a member of a golf club.

We have a very active junior section playing regular match play golf against other clubs in the area. Also the juniors are accepted into the clubs Medal Competitions three times per year, to ensure accurate handicaps. They also have their own competitions and majors for prizes donated by the club and individual full members.
At any time you will see junior members on the course, meeting in the nets and on the practice green and then taking refreshment in the club house, they are always respectful and are in the main a great credit to Stamford Golf Club.

I played with some friends on 23 July. Despite the very heavy rain we have had over the last few weeks the course was in very good condition.
It is a fair test of golf and the greens were very good and well contoured. You may have to be quite fit, as the course is very hilly. But it does mean you get some nice views of the surrounding country.
The pro was helpful in explaining the slightly unusual layout of the course.
I thought it good value for £25.
