About the Courses 1. As with all of Colts designs the course is in two loops of 9 holes with the front 9 holes hugging the sand dunes and coastline and back 9 forming inland links, however the sea can be seen from every hole.
2. The course works its way out to the Headland and back at which point you can almost touch the sea with views stretching down the coast towards St Ives.
Less busy than the Championship Course but with greens equal in quality and speed, golfers of all abilities can enjoy this course.
3. Built around the ancient Chapel of St Constantine in the C15, this course is a most popular feature of Trevose for all standards of golfer.

Recent highlights include hosting 2008 Brabazon Trophy and The McGregor Trophy (2012).

Other Comments Trevose is located on the North Cornish coastline, one of the most spectacular locations in the UK.From the clubhouse?s panoramic windows the view stretches out towards Trevose Head and the Atlantic Ocean; over sand dunes, streams and the tamarisk dotted fairways to Booby's Bay and beyond.
Like all great Colt designed links courses the difficulty lies in the wind ? so beware when the wind blows! No two days are ever the same, and those who are prepared to be more creative with their shot making will be well rewarded.
With three courses, catering for golfers of all standards, onsite 4-5 star rated accommodation, dining and leisure facilities, and seven beaches within a mile, Trevose is the ideal retreat for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Trevose sits above the majestic Constantine Bay which would suggest that the track is a links, but in my opinion it resembles more a parkland/links rather than a true Links (Scottish Style) Nevertheless Trevose has a great deal going for it in terms of appearance, and on course cosmetics.
Running at 6,300 yards from the visitor tees it has a level of difficulty that would reward the low handicapper, and test the mid handicapper. If you are a high handicap player then some holes will be very difficult, and some sand traps could make a round very frustrating. However the layout is enjoyable and very worthwhile and is without doubt one of the best courses in the area. Outward 9 has a number of holes that are very undulating which may test the knees, so consider a buggy if the legs are not what they once were; that apart the walk is pretty flat.
Half Way House on the 10th is usually open for snacks etc.
I am a fan of Trevose but the course condition could be better especially the fairways however this may be a reaction to the recent very dry period (June -Sept 2013) get the fairways right and were talking about a very, very good golf course. Don't miss this one !!

As a regular visitor (for 10 years) of Trevose Golf and Country Club I'm delighted to see that the course has once again returned to magnificent condition. The greens were particularly well kept providing a fast and true putting surface. I took the time to personally thank the greens staff for the excellent presentation of the course. We were also delighted with our accommodation, which since our last stay has been updated to a very high standard. I would highly recommend people to return to a fantastic golfing venue.
