Holes 10-hole (18 tees) links course founded in 1905. Dunnerholme Rock from which the Golf Club gets its name, is a limestone outcrop that projects out in to the Estuary and is part of the course.

Description
Unique 10-hole links course along the estuary of the River Duddon. Water in play on five holes. Elevated 6th green provides magnificent views of the Lakeland mountains and Morecambe Bay.

what a glorious course especially if the sun is shining .
with views over the coast and to the lakeland ranges challenging holes like the "rock" and the following hole where a good drive allows you to chip over a dry stone wall to the green ! magical !
watch out for the sheep they are more common than birdies !! play 10 or 18 !

A very good 10 hole course with 18 tee positions, a links course with a 97 year old history, the course was built by railway workers and runs down the N/W coast. It is named after a rock with a green on it!!
Makes for a very interesting day out.
Well worth a visit if staying round the Lake District, 20 mins from Coniston, 30 from Windemere, Kendal.
