The first hole looked nice until we reached the green and found it covered in moss!!!!!
The course was very boggy and I lost my ball down a rabbit hole when I hit it into the bunker on the second. I walked up so many hills that I thought I was going to end up on Mount Everest, although I did find it very challenging.
If I was to play the course again I will definitely be hiring a buggy or a range rover!!!!!! One to avoid. Jasoon Von

Birch Hall Golf Club is the best golf course i have ever played. Every hole is amazing and you are met with such enthusiasm.
The other man that says that he lost his ball down a rabbit hole it wouldn't be golf if that didn't happen. The course is very challenging. I do recommend that the owner invests in some new drainage because sometimes it is more like playing on a swamp. Iona Ford February 9, 2008

I played at the impressive Birch Hall course over the weekend and found it to be superb. The holes are technically very difficult with intricate approaches and stunning greens. I would definitely recommend this course for competitions and championships or just for a leisurely Sunday morning with friends. One piece of advice though, if it's wet don't tell the owner, he already knows it's wet! Ernie February 11, 2008
