An extraordinary golf course for its contrast of holes. The first 7 tack across a hill and are hugely similar and dull. The long walk to the 8 th doesn t prepare you for a monsterous par 3 and after that the course opens up with a lovely mix of holes and views. The first seven either builds confidence or lower expectations for what follows. Was I recall excellent value for sub £15 with holes that would not be amiss on serious courses

This is a nice course surrounded by some stunning Derbyshire countryside. There are some tough holes and a couple of interesting par three's. I particularly enjoyed the back nine which had variation and interesting holes. The condition of the course was excellent with receptive yet quick greens. I will definitely look forward to revisiting.

I played this course for the first time back in February, even though it was quite wet i really enjoyed it, it has a good competition potential, quite a tough course for beginners but enjoyable all the same, the greens were really good for the weather conditions, definitely one to re visit in the summer to discover the potential it really has.
