A relatively short 18 holes over hilly terrain affording exquisite views of the picturesque Hope Valley. Only one par five at less than 500 yards, but several long par fours and some challenging par threes make this an enjoyable but less than testing experience. Particularly noteworthy are the fifth, a short par four with a daunting tee shot over a ravine, and the thirteenth a par three taking you back over the same ravine. This is a particularly dramatic 150 yards from an elevated tee onto a saucer like green over the wooded valley. The fairways are wide and the rough generally narrow. Few trees separate the fairways thus making this a forgiving test for the high handicapper. Regarded locally as one of the better courses in the Sheffield area.
