About the course Designed by James Braid, Axecliff is one of the oldest courses in Devon having been founded in 1884.
The course offers a challenge to all categories of golfers combined with breathtaking views over the cliffs of Lyme Bay and inland views over the countryside.

Very challenging course - high on cliff overlooking Lyme Bay - very hilly with many blind holes - and superb views both to sea and inland - usually windy which makes it my favourite couse in this area as the playing conditions are never the same from day to day.
