Reviews
Played Exminster Golf Centre today for the first time with
a friend. Fantastic!
The 9 holes are all varied and the scenery is superb. I can't
believe it's only 3 years old. Great greens & fairways
and the ponds inviting! (especially for my balls). The course
was clearly signed and accurate distance markers helped the
approach. The driving range is one of the most picturesque
I have ever been on. We were treated really well, food and
service was top class. The guys in the pro shop gave us some
good tips and were very friendly. We are both keen golfers
and enjoyed the morning. We are looking forward to the 18
tees planned for later this year!!! We will be back... Mike Arscott June 7, 2007
Played Exminster with a couple of friends whilst on a trip
down to Devon.
What a fantastic course and location!
The course is very new and only opened about a year and a
half ago, but what they have created is absolutely fantastic
- the views over the estuary from the course are amazing.
We also ate in the restaurant (Charcombes Lounge) and had
one of the best home cooked meals I have had in a long time
- to accompany this a lovely atmosphere and great views.
Well done - will definitely be back next time I am in the
area. Stuart James June 1, 2006
What a nightmare! I played here in September of this year.
Believe me, once is enough!
The fairways were as hard as nails, giving yourself the impression
that you were using a putter for all of your long irons. Thins
galore!
There is a worrying sense that there really isn't enough room
to fit all the holes onto the course. For example, there are
virtually no run-offs behind greens.
Also, when i played, there were no distance markers whatsoever!

This has to be one of the best looking courses for the time
of year. The scenery from the club house is to die for. The
menu has a wide range to suit all tastes. I wish you all the
best this is a brilliant course!!!!! Luke Hayman February 1, 2005
