Course Review

A challenging course for all handicaps, playable all year round. The course is currently going through many alterations in its full transition between 9 and 18 holes with a lot of money being spent on landscaping and flattening some of the up-hill lies!
The 'new' 9 is fairly open and has a links feel to it. This is in great contrast to the parkland feel of the 'old' course, which is tighter with plenty of water to catch errant drives.
The course boasts two impressive 170+ yard par 3's over water. These are both spectacular and challenging holes and will put everyone's heart in their mouth!
This is still a new course, which needs time to mature into a great course. Don't be disappointed if it is still a bit brown from the changes, the green keepers have improved greatly, and they are putting in a lot of effort to get the course looking great.
The hospitality is warm with an ever-extending clubhouse with restaurant. Some may feel that £18+ for a round of golf here is a little pricy to non-members but this is north Devon!
