Course Description Classic downland course with superb views. Among some excellent holes, the 5th, a downhill par 5, is outstanding. Playable all year round on proper tees and greens
Course Reviews What a fantastic day!! The course was brilliant. No temporary green or tees despite the recent wet weather made this a very enjoyable days golf. The course played very well and certainly proved to be a good test for our small group. The well located halfway house with its views out over the sea were fantastic. The bar and the food afterwards made the day one to remember. I will certainly visit again later this year.

Very enjoyable course to play. Would suggest that as Brighton is a very popular tourist area the course card must show a plan of each hole. Seems a bit tight fisted to expect visitors to pay to play and purchase a course booklet which if on holiday you can only use once. Many people praise Ifield in Crawley for the detail of each hole on back of the score card. The pay back in repeat bookings and recommendations more than covers the £2.50 for the one use booklet. Please consider this suggestion it considerably increases the enjoyment if one has some idea of the direction you should be trying to hit the ball.

Played last weekend as a visitor and enjoyed the course. One complaint is at the 17th and 18th holes, it is not clear where the approach to the green is from the tee. Although there are markers, there are others in the same area and is not clear which belongs to the hole/green you are aiming for.

East Brighton is a downland course with fine views overlooking the English Channel and Brighton Racecourse. It is playable all year round as it is constructed on chalk so does not get waterlogged. Buggy hire is available and also lessons from the Club Pro. Catering is available 7 days a week offering bar snacks.
