Course Reviews
We are group of 8 golfers from Ireland on our annual tour to the UK in Oct. 2009. The general condition of the course and greens was nothing shot of "disgrasefull", we should have been refunded our green fees. Eamonn Ryan February 20, 2010
This is a seriously long course! The welcome received upon arrival was first class as was the new club house.
The course itself was in good condition with all the greens playing well, the front nine is the more interesting with plenty of water to catch you out and with a very mature parkland feel, back nine a bit flat and artificial with man made bumps in the fairway to create blind shots.
All in all well worth a visit, however was very crowded on the day visited due to a "special offer" being in place. Paid £20 green fee and received a dozen Titleist balls for free, how bad is that!!
Does the previous reviewer expect a course to be pristine in February!!!! Value For Money: Good
