Course Reviews

Great course and the overview is there or there abouts after a few problems with green damage etc Basildon golf course is getting back to its best with varying degrees of difficulty all round the course beautiful park land surrounding you adds to the feeling of detatchment from the rest of the world. The people are very friendly but one word of warning if you hit left to right aim very left as most of the fairways play in the same direction.

Not one for beginners very hard if you are not one for always hitting the ball straight and with a lot of hills a buggy may be a good option, this is one of the best courses I've played on and it is being improved all the time definitely one to try if you are in the area.

This is a quite hard course, the greens are very different very quick on one green then the next is really slow, there is a lot of hills which makes it hard to always get a nice stance overall an average course.

Basildon is a good course, hard if you cant hit the ball straight otherwise easy!!
Scott Davies February 2, 2006

Basildon golf course is one of my all time favourites, a very good test for golfers of all abilities. I have been playing for about 18 years and though I have moved on I will always regard Basildon Golf course as my home course.
