About Frinton The course features fast, firm, undulating greens test the best putters. Tidal ditches, known locally as 'fletes', cross many fairways requiring accurately placed shots. The trademark of the links course, the ever-changing sea breeze, demands careful club selection on every hole.

I just found the course un inspiring. Used to hills trees etc. The course is completely flat with most fairways straight. Will not return in a hurry.

I'm an Essex boy, have played lots of courses in Essex- Frinton is, for me, the most beautiful course to be found in the county. Not quite a links course, but you can hear the sea more often than not!
Steve Turner

Fantastic course, great condition, weather always a challenge making the course play different each round.
Liam Wilson

Its a brilliant course which you have to play. The Carnoustie of the south east.
