The Kings Course offers an excellent test of Golf. This mature parkland course features an array of water hazards, set in gently rolling parkland, offering all golfing abilities a challenging but most enjoyable round. The Jubilee Course has been constructed to exacting USGA specifications. This course provides both a unique and alternative test of golf with elaborately undulating greens, and some very challenging short holes. This Par 64 will require alternative thinking in order to conquer its inviting challenges.Exc. from club's website
Course Reviews
Since coming under new ownership
in the last couple of
years(used to be Clubhaus) this course has improved markedly,
after a patchy start. The greens and general condition are first
class, a new practice putting green has been built also.......highly
recommended. Geoffers September 21, 2004
Two 18 Hole courses, fast greens very well managed Par 71
and par 64.

All round , a very good experience. Bob Bell April 27, 2005
After hearing good things about the course I decided I had to give the course a go. I had lived in Essex for 7 years and never set foot anywhere near it.
Massively disappointed! The course was in good condition generally but some of the holes just had a bit of a "field" feeling to them. There were some very nice holes but they were too few and far between. What didn't help was half way round the heavens opened which made it very unpleasant but even with the Sun shining I can't imagine I would ever enjoy this course. Whoever decided to put a hole across "Cardiac hill" will never be a friend of mine, golf is a relaxing game, not a game that causes you to need a respirator and a lay down! If you decide to play this course, you'll find out what I mean.
The final 18th hole has a slight downhill approach to a well protected green and was probably the best hole on the course but by that time I was so drenched and fed up that I couldn't really enjoy it.
The club house and pro shop are second to none; although when I asked in the pro shop for a cheap waterproof jacket, I was pointed toward the more expensive jackets and ended up hunting around myself trying to find a reasonably priced one.
From the outside, it looks fantastic, but once out on the course it's a bit of a let down.
